Legend has it that he was born from a spark that fell from the eye of Kayou the Original, giving him an ardent temperament and unfailing courage. Impulsive but loyal, Salakayou deeply attaches himself to the human he chooses: their shoulder then becomes his perch of glory, always ready to leap... or to warm himself.

His inner warmth grows with the bond he forms with his bearer. When the tip of his tail glows with a vibrant orange light, evolution is approaching—and it’s best to be ready, because things might get hot.
